What is Competency Based Interview?

Competency Based Interviews are put into place for applicants to test whether they are suitable for the job role according to specific competences.


    Competency based interview are put into place for applicants to test their ability on whether they are suitability for the job role.
  • Design to test more than one skill of an applicant.
  • This can include questions such as, what their reaction would be to hypothetical situations in the job role, or a role play about situations in the job.
  • This is a good method to see the way that an applicant will react in situations, especially when they do not have previous experience in the job role and present the correct attributes to carry out the job role.
