What Is An Employee Exit Survey For?
Exit surveys are a tool to collect data and feedback from employees that have decided to leave the company. That will help you know what to improve and increase employee retention.
By collecting and analyzing ex-employees feedback, you will be able to identify the weak spots of your organization and work towards improving them (employee benefits, rewards, workplace culture, employee engagement…).
What makes a good exit survey?
- Explain what is the reason for this survey to the employee that is leaving (state clearly that you want to make a positive change and their feedback will help).
- Be consistent. Ask always the same questions in order to be able to compare and look for patterns.
