What are Management styles?
Management styles is where the manager chooses a particular method/style in order to complete their goals for the business. The management style involves the way managers plan, make their decisions, organise their work, they way they manage their employees and delegates.
Types of management styles:
- Autocratic management style- This type of management is a one way communication from employees to their bosses. The autocratic style can be said to be the most controlling management style, where employees are not asked for their ideas and thoughts towards the company.
- Authoritative management style- This style is where the managers tell their employees exactly what is needed of them in their job role. And those who do not follow the instruction it is the managers responsibility to take action.
- Persuasive management style- The managers using this style of management use their persuasive skills to persuade their employees. This is to persuade them that the decisions that they have made are good for the company and team.
