What is diversity training?


  • Diversity training is training carried out to employees to raise more awareness of the diversity problems that there may be within a workplace, to make them more aware of their own beliefs on diversity. Within this training, they help them to interact, collaborate and work with other employees in the workplace more closely to people that have variant different characteristics of their own by providing them with the skills.
  • Diversity training is seen to be a benefit from a business perspective as is increasing employee to collaborate when working and relational skills, it protects them against the risk of violations of discrimination legislation. This reduces the chance of the company reputation. Diversity training can support employees to feel more confident and valued in the workplace.
