What is an HR Audit?
An HR audit is a process to evaluate the results of Human Resources policies and performance within an organization. The audit examines various aspects of the HR-policies, processes, procedures, workflow systems, etc. - and the results they have produced within the organization over a specific period of time.
The objectives of an HR audit are to ensure that organizational functional compliance is maintained and compatible with its running, help the HR staff to understand the factors which may lead to improvement and review the resources allocated to the HR and the output obtained.
Some of the major organizational aspects that are covered during an HR audit are the recruitment policies, employee onboarding and offboarding, compensation policies, benefits, staff performance reviews, best practices, etc.
