What is HR Compliance?

HR compliance is a process to standardize the workplace policies as per a recognised standard – especially at regional, national and international level. HR compliance requires that a HR laws of an organization be in sync with recognised labour laws and regulations. HR compliance also enforces practices to ensure that policies set as per the compliance are stringently followed.

Compliance is a critically important function of an organization’s HR as it is tasked with standardization of various aspects of HR – hiring practices, workplace policies and rules, employee treatment, etc.
